The event aims to provide a firsthand view of IKN’s development progress while reaffirming the commitment of the IKN Authority to sustainable development, encompassing both physical and non-physical aspects.

"I would like to express my gratitude and deep appreciation to the governments of Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom, as well as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), for their contributions to the development of a sustainable city in IKN," said Basuki, who is fondly known as Pak Bas, in his speech on Thursday (02/13/2025).

On this occasion, Basuki reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to continuing the development of IKN. "The second phase of IKN development is progressing. President Prabowo Subianto has personally instructed me to complete the Core Government Center (KIPP), particularly the judicial and legislative ecosystems, by 2028," he stated.

Additionally, the Head of the IKN Authority presented three documents, developed in collaboration with ADB, to international partners as " a part of environmental conservation efforts in IKN.
